search the defy medical knowledge base:The Myers Cocktail is a common base formula used in intravenous infusions. It contains specific vitamins and minerals combined into a saline bag.
The original Myers cocktail was developed by the late Dr. John Myers and consists of magnesium, calcium, B vitamins, and vitamin C. Providers will sometimes modify the Myers Cocktail formula by adding varying concentrations of the current ingredients and/or adding new nutritional supplements, depending on the needs of the patient.
Patients have reportedly found it to be effective against conditions like acute asthma attacks, migraines, fatigue (including chronic fatigue syndrome), fibromyalgia, acute muscle spasm, upper respiratory tract infections, chronic sinusitis, seasonal allergic rhinitis, cardiovascular disease, and other disorders.

How often should I receive the Myers Cocktail IV Infusion?
This infusion can be done as often needed. Patients report certain effects for up to a month after a single infusion. For chronic illness or prevention, we recommend more frequent infusions.
